Channing’s High School Updates
Saturday October 1st was the annual Battle of the Bands at Lancaster High School. As the official little sister school of Grambling State University, each year Lancaster High acts as the host to one of the most entertaining band and cheerleading competitions you’ll ever get a chance to see! This year it was held at Tiger Stadium. If you didn’t get a chance to make it there in person be sure and check out this week’s episode of The Home Team DFW at 9am!
This season on The Home Team DFW we are partnering with i93 FM for their Friday Night Lights Game of the Week! Look for us every Friday (and some Thursdays) at some of the area’s best match ups along with i93’s Adam Bomb and the entire i93 crew! This Week on The Home Team DFW!
This week our Home Team of the Week was the Grand Prairie Gophers. The Students and staff at Grand Prairie were awesome and I had a great time meeting everyone! While at GPHS I had a chance to stop by their new law enforcement and public safety program where students prepare themselves for a career in law or public safety. Of course I also had to stop by the journalism department and check out Go4News! Go4News is a daily news program that the students direct, star in and produce as a way to spread the daily announcements. I know you wont want to miss this week’s edition of The Home Team DFW at 9am on ION!
